This season's menswear range from Barbour offers exactly what you would expect from a British country brand; rugged garments crafted from quality materials and finished to the highest standard. Whether in the countryside or the city, Barbour's menswear feels at home. With a focus on men's wax jackets, quilted jackets and warm wool products, the Autumn/Winter range not only looks great but can perform in cold and wet conditions. After highlighting some key pieces from the Barbour ladies collection last week, here we take a look at some of our favourites from the Barbour men's collection.

Crafted from a mediumweight waxed cotton, the Winter Utility Wax Jacket also comes in a classic olive colour. Hardwearing with a smart appearance, this jacket features a high funnel collar with a corduroy inner for extra detail. The Winter Utility is practical thanks to the inclusion of several pockets to the front which also aid the aesthetic.
This jacket can be worn with chinos or denim alike and works well in whichever setting you find yourself.
The Winter Utility is one of a number of Barbour Men's wax jackets this season.
Besides wax jackets, Barbour are well known for their classic quilted jackets. Built upon a wealth of experience with this type of garment, the Devon is a traditionally styled men's quilted jacket. Cut to have a regular fit, the Barbour Devon Quilted Jacket is available in both olive and navy giving you a choice of classic styles. The box quilting provides a layer of insulation that isn't bulky when worn.
This jacket can be worn casually with denin or dressed smarter with some chinos. There is space underneath to layer with some knitwear or a sweatshirt when the temperature drops. The Devon looks great when paired with some rugged boots for a truly country look.
Crafted from a wool-blend fabric, the Abbeystead Jacket is a slightly longer length pea coat lined with an insulating quilted layer. Useful patch pockets and adjustable cuffs add to the overall design of this jacket. A Classic Tartan under collar can also be put on show by fastening the collar upright. Not only does this create a nice contrast with the rest of the jacket but also creates an extra barrier to the cold.
The Abbeystead acts as a warm over coat and is very well suited to smarter outfits. This jacket will not look out of place worn over office attire and ensures a warm and stylish journey between home and work.
Inspired by military attire, the Whitburn is a rugged leather and cotton canvas boot that's built to last. Difficult outdoor terrain is no problem thanks to a chunky leather and rubber sole. These are a hardwearing pair of boots that also happen to look great.
The Whitburn Boot pairs well with other Barbour products, especially their wax and quilted jackets. Earlier we mentioned a pair of rugged boots would work well with the Devon Quilted Jacket and these fit the bill perfectly. Best worn with olive-coloured outer layers for a strong country style.
A wool-blend fabric fashioned in Barbour's signature Classic Tartan, the Carrbridge Backpack is one of our favourite Barbour accessories for the Autumn/Winter season. With everything you would expect from a good backpack such as: adjustable straps and zipped pockets, the Carrbridge not only sports a typical Barbour look but is practical too.
