This season we have handpicked some of the best Barbour pieces from their various collections to create a highly curated range. With the colder weather coming in autumn and winter you'll be looking for great-looking, hardwearing garments that can stand up to the tests the British weather will throw at it. Barbour, synonymous with British heritage design, offer just these kinds of garments with water resistant waxed jackets, warm woollen coats and knits and stylish quilted jackets you can wrap yourself up in. To round out the collection we also have some excellent accessories and footwear to complete your look. Below we highlight some of our favourite new pieces from the ladies range that we are sure you'll love. To see the full range click here.
A favourite of ours, the Clyde Short Baffle returns for another season in some fresh new colours. This short quilted jacket is the ultimate combination of lightweight and warm, the added bonus being that is packs away into its own bag when not in use. The portability suits it well to travel so for weekends away or a longer break we recommend packing this in your bag.
This jacket is best worn as part of a casual outfit and looks great with jeans. When the weather is a little colder, there is room for you to pair it up with some fine knitwear or a sweatshirt for added warmth.
For something smarter, the Linton Wool Coat is definitely worth some consideration. Beautifully crafted and sophisticated, this wool and cashmere blend coat sports Barbour's signature Winter Tartan sett with emerald lines running through it. The high funnel collar adds to the elegantly tailored silhouette and creates an extra barrier against the weather for the wearer.
The Linton acts as an excellent overcoat for any smart or dressy outfit but looks equally great worn with jeans and some boots for a day or evening out. The fairly neutral colours lend this coat well to pairing will just about anything but with a pair of black denim or trousers you can't go wrong.
Something Barbour have become known for are their range of wax jackets and this season brings a new batch of designs into the fold. The Ashley Wax Jacket is crafted with the British Countryside and changing seasons in mind. A quilted inner has been added to the wax cotton outer for insulation and an array of utility pockets adorn this practical ladies jacket. In addition to all of the features listed, the Ashley Wax Jacket has a feminine fit that looks great whether you are in the country or the city.
As with most of Barbour's olive wax jackets, the Ashley looks best worn with dark trousers or denim but can be worn with leggings for a more casual and comfortable look. The quilted lining makes this jacket a warm one to wear but if the temperature drops drastically, chunky knitwear works well underneath it.

Chunky and warm, the Hive Knitted Jumper is made from a cotton and wool blend that is nice and light to wear. The pastel horizontal stripes are coloured using a spray dyed yarn creating this beautiful effect.
Great as a part of warm layered outfit, the Hive can be worn under a wax or quilted jacket thanks to its lightweight design. Perhaps pair with one of the jackets we have highlighted previously; the Ashley Jacket (above) looks great with this jumper underneath. The Hive Knitted Jumper also works really well with pale or white denim as an outer layer on warmer days.

Made from sort jersey fabric, the Beachley Top is a casual long sleeve t-shirt arriving in time for autumn. The white stripes on a navy background creates this nautically inspired design that is finished with a wide neck and chest pocket. Ideal for everyday wear.
White denim or trousers work well with this dark navy colour as do solid, bright coloured bottoms. Wear with a quilted jacket on cold days, we recommend the Barbour Ladies Filey Quilted Jacket, the bold red works really well with the Beachley Top.
Another favourite returns in the form of the Tartan Boucle Scarf, available in three great colours (from left to right Classic, Pink/Grey, Winter Dress). The super-soft boucle fabric feels great against the skin and will keep your cosy and comfortable all through winter.
With a colour to suit every outift it's tough to pick a favourite. These scarves are truly versatile and look just as great when worn with knitwear as they do with a wax jacket or wool coat.
