Back in 1936 Barbour introduced the first A1 one piece bike suit naming it the International. From that point on the company would have an influence in the world of motorcycling, creating the Barbour International brand to celebrate this rich heritage. Today, the brand carry a full range of products influenced by this history; from technical waxed cotton and leather jackets to more casual jersey and denim garments.
In today's blog, we are highlighting some of the key pieces form the gents Autumn/Winter 2017 range. To view the full collection follow this link.
With a strong biker aesthetic, the Duke Wax Jacket is crafted from Barbour's Thornproof waxed cotton. The standing collar and large front pockets create an unmistakably Barbour International look whilst also making this jacket highly practical.
Every man needs a good choice of casual and comfortable t-shirts for daytime wear. This logo t-shirt from Barbour International is subtle and versatile making it a great one to have in your wardrobe. Show your connection to the Barbour International lifestyle when the weather is too warm for a thick quilted or heavy wax jacket.
The grey marl colouring of this t-shirt suits it really well to being worn with just about anything. Shorts, chinos or denim, you can pair the Line Logo Tee with any of them and create a great look whilst still showcasing this incredible brand.
Also available in black.
Crafted from a cotton-rich fleece fabric, the Logo Sweater from Barbour International is a soft and warm casual crew neck sweatshirt. Ideal for everyday wear, it works well as apart of a larger Barbour International outfit. Dark denim and a waxed cotton jacket pair particularly well with the Logo Sweater. The fleece lining makes this well suited to being a top layer when the weather is milder and will keep you warm on cold days.
Also available in grey.
This jacket features a classic motorcycle racing silhouette that is instantly recognisable. Elements such as the fabric waist belt, angled map pocket and waxed cotton outer are taken from earlier Barbour jackets including the original biker jacket, the International. Of course, the highlight of this jacket is the Union Jack lining from which it takes its name. There is no mistaking this jacket's heritage thanks to the design and branding.
Dark denim, especially black denim go perfectly with this jacket. Layer with more subtle tops and jumpers underneath for the greatest impact.
