Friday 9th September, 2016 | Posted by Marchbrae

Featuring floral prints, a selection of tweed and quilted outerwear and the odd animal design thrown in for good measure, the new Joules season has landed at Marchbrae. Whether you are looking for functional jackets for the colder months or for something with a splash of colour, we've got you covered with our top picks for Autumn/Winter 2016.

Ladies

Eastleigh Padded Gilet (Silver)

As the end of summer draws nearer and the evenings start to cool off, every wardrobe needs something that is able to keep you a warm without being too heavy. This gilet is the perfect combination of warmth, comfort and style. A curved hem adds to the shape of the garment whilst the chevron quilting and panel stitching retain the heat. Available in a very neutral and therefore versatile silver colour, the Eastliegh will stand out thanks to the nice little details provided by the branded zip and logos.

Ladies Beatrice V-Neck Jersey Top (French Navy Floral)

This is one top with a lot to offer. A combination of a floral print and stripes, this long sleeve v-neck definitely adds a lot to your collection. The Beatrice has a relaxed but fashionable fit with a curved hem to create a very flattering silhouette. Perfect for day or evening wear. This French Navy Floral print runs throughout the AW16 Joules collection so finding a matching accessory will not be a problem. Pair with dark denim jeans for a classy and casual look.

Ladies Merry Intarsia Jumper (Soft Grey Pheasant)

Joules have become known for their animal prints and designs and this season is no different. Featuring a pheasant intarsia to the front, the Merry is a soft grey jumper crafted for a softer feel. Perfect for everyday casual wear, this jumper is ideal for layering up when the temperature starts to drop.  The grey colour lends itself well to many outfits and the splash of colour on the pheasant design add a dash of character.

Welly Print (Green Fox)

No autumn/winter collection would be complete without some wellies! We are all for practicality and this pair from Joules definitely stand up to the rigours of wetter weather and muddy terrain. What sets these apart is the all over fox print that adds a little fun to a country staple.

Gents

Estate Quilted Jacket (Bark Brown)

With a contemporary fit, the Estate is a stylish take on a classic quilted jacket. The check lining adds an extra layer of warmth as well as a nice bit of detail. Complete with a standing collar to protect you from the elements and large, hand warmer pockets, this jacket will see you through the winter season, no problems. The Bark Brown colouring lends itself well to pairing with darker denim and black or dark brown boots.

Rambler Quilted Gilet (Marine Navy)

If you are looking for something a little lighter, the Rambler is the perfect choice. The sherpa fleece keeps you warm in the coldest weather, whilst the lightweight design makes this ideal for layering up with knitwear and shirts (perhaps with our next pick). The little royal blue details add a touch of style to an already classy piece that will see you through until summer comes around once again.

Forester Classic Shirt (Regency Green Tartan)

Every man needs a choice of shirts for different occasions and this Forester is an ideal addition. The Green tartan design is casual enough for a Saturday afternoon out and about but smart enough that it won't look out of place when dressed up. With a classic, regular fit and subtle detailing on the chest pocket, this shirt will become a go to this season. Versatility is the key here as the Forester can be matched with denim or chinos and layered up with knitwear or a Joules gilet for added warmth.
